My name is Morgan Shiver, and I am a senior at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. I am graduating this May with a B.A. in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, Journalism, and Fashion Media.

I am passionate about helping others and my surrounding community. Since July 2023, I have been working part-time as head of Project Management and Coordination for the Dallas-based nonprofit WE ARE ALL HOMELESS. This includes leading and coordinating all volunteers, overseeing diverse initiatives for the successful production of exhibits, presentations, and events, and coordinating teamwork on public relations and social media on multiple accounts.

I strive for a career that combines my interests in beauty, food, and helping others which allows me to travel around the world to gain new experiences. My goal of working in the beauty industry stems from an eleven-month internship at E.L.F. Beauty, first as a Social Media intern and then excelling as a Community Management intern, and my studies as a Fashion Media major at SMU.

As a student, I have a strong work ethic, am highly organized, and have efficient time management skills. I thrive when working in a team dynamic and in person with coworkers but simultaneously excel when I can get ahead and complete tasks on my own. As a person, I enjoy exploring and learning about different cultures, I love to meet new people and form strong relationships, and easily adapt and become flexible to new environments. When I asked my friends to describe me in three words, they said: personable, passionate, and loyal.
